Dr Grant has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was 5 years old. In 1989 she graduated with a Bachelor of Science for the University of Illinois at Chicago. Then in 1993, she fulfilled her dreams when she graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. In 2009 she became certified in veterinary acupuncture from the Chi Institute.
Autumn Green Animal Hospital is an integrative small animal/exotic veterinary hospital that combines Western medicine with Eastern medicine. Autumn Green Animal Hospital also offers acupuncture, Chinese herbs, homeopathy, animal chiropractic care, therapeutic laser treatment, Reiki, grooming, massage, boarding, training, and daycare.
Dr. Grant is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, the Association of Avian Veterinarians, the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians, the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians, and the American Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Grant treats dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits, ferrets, small exotic mammals such as gerbils, hamsters, rats, and mice, as well as koi fish.
